MAWS Memberships are the primary source of funds for MAWS to provide resources, referrals, and information for midwives and expectant mothers in Washington State. These funds also enable us to maintain a strong voice in the legislature to ensure that home and birth center births remain an option for all low-risk childbearing women in Washington.

We would like to offer you an opportunity to support this work while promoting your business through the MAWS directory of "midwife-friendly" health care and business professionals. This referral list is displayed to the public through our online directory of midwives in a "midwife-friendly services" category. When you join, we will also list you in one addition of our bi-monthly membership newsletter.

MAWS associate memberships are open to all Medical Physicians, Naturopathic Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Chiropractors, Acupuncturists, Massage Therapists, Doulas, Childbirth Educators, Lactation Consultants, Medical Billers, Database Consultants and any other professional who provides care or services to expectant mothers and their families or offers a business-related service for midwives. An associate membership is a great way to broaden your client base.

Our membership year is January 1st to December 31st, renewable on January 1st of every year. So join now for a directory listing through 2010.
